In September I spent four days on the road with my friends Theo and Ryan. We didn’t really plan our trip to the Dolomites, except that we were going hike, camp and take photos.

Somewhat naively we didn’t expect heavy snowfall, we did try to camp and credit to the guys they managed to spend an evening out there on the frozen ground. Despite putting every possible item of clothing on my body the cold got to me and I ended up back in the car. Physically it was a hard few days, but the most incredible landscapes and good company more than made up for it.

It is the kind of place that stops you in your tracks, makes you think about the world and be forever grateful that such places exist. In a few days we managed to fit a lot in, I can’t remember the names of every place that we visited but here are some of my favourites:

  • Sella Pass
  • Tre Cime di Lavaredo
  • Lago di Sorapiss
  • Lago di carezza
  • Lago di Braies
  • Seceda
