In April I was given the opportunity to travel to Norway in collaboration with iMbarc. Starting in Alesund I spent four days driving south through the Fjords to Bergen. The winding roads and endless tunnels are incredible but they can only take you so far before you’ll need to take a ferry. At first this felt such a strange way of getting around but you quickly realise travelling by boat here is a necessity and not a novelty.
If I took anything away from the trip it was that I really loved being out there on my own. I enjoyed the peace and I was even okay with getting lost in the mountains on a dirt track in the dark. Hairpin bends on cliff edges and not seeing another person on the road for 3 hours, it was sketchy as hell but awesome and something I’ll never forget.
